What colors paint a straw hat?

I am trying to repair a crack on a figurine that contains a straw hat and in order to blend it in, I need a good color for the straw hat but I dont want to ruin it by using the wrong color. What is the best recommendations for mixture of colors? Thanks.
The straw is almost a lighter brown, so I think the beige and tan thing works good.

Well straw has a touch of yellow in it. You could try yellow ochre & brown then lighten it with white. Straw isn’t just beige or tan it’s a little warmer, like a golden colour. You can practice on a bit of canvas or paper to get the right colour before you paint on the figurine. I’ve painted in cracks on sculptures before & it’s very hard to spot.

Good luck! Trial & error is better than any answer you’ll get here since we can’t see the exact colour anyway.
